Melias - Giles Blue
Printed in England
Available for immediate dispatch
c.1865 the Melias is a fine example of the 'true principles of wallpaper design' as championed in the second half of the nineteenth century in reaction to the predomination of 'bourgeois scrollwork' as seen in designs such as the Oscar. It originally had a warm grey ground, tan trellis and burgundy detail.
