The Golden Age Continues
The late 18th century was the golden age of chinoiserie wall-coverings, but these hand-painted Chinese wallpapers sparked a fashion that lasted more than a century, and they are still very much in demand today. The enthusiasm for Chinese styles was reflected in their widespread use in 18th-century decoration. There was a playfulness and informality to the style that made chinoiserie a universally popular choice. Watts offers two beautiful designs—the Walzin Fleur and Ussé Fleur—set on a number of different substrates, in both a standardized and bespoke format.

We offer three levels of customisation for our Chinoiserie designs:
1. Standard - You can select the panels you like and we print them as is at 300cm height.
2. Semi-Custom - You can tell us the height you want and we can print your required section.
3. Fully Custom - We can adapt the design to change certain colours, extend the sky to cover the ceiling, or even add your pets in a harmonizing style.
