c.1875 A grand late 19th century design, the Pine was depicted in "St Nicholas" by Hans Memlinc (1465-1494) and was redrawn in the 19th century for drapes in Westminster Palace for the Grand Committee Room. With ornate ogee strapwork overlapped with leafy vines bursting into flower, this incredible cotton is popular in churches and embraces the shape of chairs when used as upholstery. It is magnificent in sky blue, ivory and gold.
