The Lions Paw was part of vocabulary of heraldic motifs used by medieval knights to symbolise strength and sovereignty, Set in sequence the fan like ‘paw’ conjures up a fun pattern, add a rippled striping and you discover a balloon in the sky. A versatile textile design serving up a viable alternative to the Bargello.
