c.1885 Redrawn by Bodley in 1885, the Pear is drawn from a flock wallpaper formerly hanging in the Queen's drawing room at Hampton Court. Originally made c.1735, it was removed when Verrio's paintings were rediscovered in 1899. The partners would have known the papers while they were still up.  Large scale stylised floral design.
