Howard Indienne
Bold, delicate and delicious that's how we would describe the bespoke collection of fabrics that celebrate our prestigious collaboration with Castle Howard. Howard Indienne is part of the new Castle Howard Indienne Collection that brings back to life the archive assembled by Rosalind, 9th Countess in the last decades of the 19th Century.
A lively indienne of twisting branches of bountiful buds, blooms, fruit and leaves in stylised elegance celebrates Victoria Howard's commitment to this impressive restoration project. This exuberant Tree of Life was chosen by Remi Renzullo for both window and bed drapery in the Admiral's Bedroom at Castle Howard. The soaring eighteenth century Polainaise bed truly is a centre piece, the curtain topped with an elaborate crown centre connected to the four corner poles of the bed frame. A spectacle that honours timeless style and grand interiors.
The Howard Indienne Border fabric is available separately.
