D'Urberville Velvet
Printed in England
c.1795. A charming French late eighteenth century design, this is a pastoral scene typical of the period. Originally it would have had a blue grey ground, and a soft cream and taupe cartouche and vignette. Printed on rich velvet, the Rococo design flourishes in antique golds and umbers.
