c.1795 A charming French late 18th century design, this is a pastoral scene typical of the period. Originally it would have had a blue grey ground, and a soft cream and taupe cartouche and vignette. Printed on soft cotton and linen, the Rococo design flourishes in antique pinks on ivory.
