c. 1860. This stylised floral woven in silk and flax has an elegant, all over, non-directional floral design that is fantastic for upholstery and drapery. The gorgeous pattern is typical of the floral designs favoured by the nineteenth century bourgeoisie. Swirling leaves, flowers and berries dance in silk and thickly woven natural beige flax.
