Ariane

Colourway:
Introducing 'Ariane', a verdure tapestry inspired by the 17th-century work of Claude Vignon (1593–1670) and is part of a series that illustrates the story of Ariane, based on the novel by Jean Desmaret de Saint-Sorlin. Set during the reign of Emperor Nero, the design captures the pivotal moment when Mélinte bows to the heroine Ariane as she offers him her horse. Originally engraved by Abraham Bosse (1604–1676), the design was expertly woven into tapestry by master artisans, resulting in a breathtaking depiction of this classical tale.

Perfect as a large tapestry wall hanging, the Ariane Tapestry adds a dramatic and elegant focal point to any interior. For those seeking a personalised touch, our in-house studio can adapt the design to create a custom tapestry tailored to your space. Avaible with and without borders, the tapestry can be adapted to a scenic panoramic mural wallpaper, bringing both timeless storytelling and sophisticated style to your home.
