The Gothic Drawing Room remains largely unchanged from the time when it was redecorated by the Crace brothers to the designs of AW N Pugin in 1849 The seventeenth century Brussels tapestries originally hung in Wimpole Hall and were a wedding present to Lady Caroline Yorke, wife of the second Earl Somers.
