Veronese

c.1850 This extravagantly large, stylized design looks incredible in contemporary interiors. Created by Augustus Pugin (who famously designed the interiors of Westminster Palace), it was originally issued as a cut velvet. Now in the stylish Prestonfield hotel in Edinburgh on the walls and chairs, the geometric design achieves glorious impact in soft brown chenille on bronze silk.
