c.1870 Originally a grand 17th century damask, this silk weave was redrawn by Watts founder and pioneer of the Queen Anne revival G. F Bodley in the 19th century. It demonstrates his movement towards this style, known for its refinement: flowing leaves flower into large, ornate blooms. Its elegance is captured perfectly in silver with undertones of sea green.
