Bellini

Bellini

c.1850 Designed by Augustus Pugin after a tapestry in Roger van der Weyden’s ‘Madonna and Saints’ (c. 1450), this stylized geometric floral design is now a glorious silk damask. The Bellini was woven for the world’s only seven star hotel, the Burj Al Arab in Dubai in stunning Red Cote D’Azure. Dominating the central atrium, this Baroque silk cascades from the upper floors down into the heart of the rich red foyer.
