c.1790 Taken from an altar frontal from Castle Howard (where Brideshead Revisited was filmed), this was a pearl pink damask with contrasting embroidered decorative leaf detail and has been transormed into a starkly defined woven silk chenille that is perfect for upholstery. Deep green chenille leaves curl like rolling waves between budding flowers on a gold silk ground, in which delicate ferns are just visible.

Woven to order.
Minimum order – 10 metres

1) There may be variations in the cloth face due to the characteristics of chenille as a yarn.
