Wallpaper Restoration Project – WATTS 1874
Ordsall Hall Winner of the RICS North West Awards Award 2012
Ordsall Hall – Salford’s Grade 1 listed Tudor manor house – In 2007 it was named Small Visitor Attraction of the Year by the Northwest Regional Development Agency. The hall was closed to the public between 2009 and 2011 while the house underwent a £6.5m restoration project. Watts was commissioned to recreate from the smallest fragment an important early wallpaper. The success of this commission illustrates the skills and experience we can apply to any restoration project.
